Thread: Disconnects every 5 mins.

For last three days, somehow my ADSL disconnects every 5mins 3 secs and DHCP lease me a new IP, thats my headache. I did registered a complaint on 1504, you guyies can imagine what they must have said (useless crap). Anyhow, Local lineman did came to my house but they didn't find any problem. My phone is working fine. I'm bit perplexed, whether the problem lies at server end. Speed isn't a issue, it works fine for 5 mins. Hey I'm from Delhi.

And above problem was rectified 6th day after I made a complaint. I called them daily Local exchange ppl called up and agreed its a server issue and they are working on it.

Well this is how MTNL works I guess. Keep poking them

Check your DHCP lease settings,it must be 5 minutes so it discoonects after 5 minutes and gives a new Ip.Increse the DHCP lease out settings
