    Unhappy problem with t-kd-318-eui modem

    hello fnds,
    i have recently switched frm hathway to mtnl and i chose 256kbps unlimited plan,
    i got mtnl t-kd-318-eui modem,which is currently working in pppoe mode,but i can only browse and if download anything it fails after 2-3 mbs,i tried all kinds of settings switched frm adsl2+ to g.dmt,but thts nt solving my problem...plzz help
    i hv checked my modem snr margin and attenuation values and they are satisfactory(snr-30db,attenuation-43db)
    one more thng on pinging with 32bytes data i get response around 30ms

    and if i use a download manager to download from sites like microsoft,etc(non sharing sites),then i can download,
    but if i download from rapidshare,megaupload with or without download managers the download gets stuck in between

    can anyone gv me d soln of his problem

    For your plan max speed 32KB/sec 256/8= 32 KB/sec.
    If you get in D/L managers 10 to 30 KB/sec this is OK.
    Rapidshare Free accts they connect to slow server.
    Anyway try Portforwarding for Rapid share.
    portforward.com . select your modem there.
