Exclamation HELP HELP HELP UT-304R2 MTNL MODEM/ROUTER got RESET

Hi.
I have mtnl broadband connection.
Suddenly it started functioning improperly. After trying all the usual methods (modem on/off etc) it still didnt improve. Thereafter i ended up pressing the RESET button at the back of the modem. NOW ??? PLease help me on how to reconfigure the modem. I have done the basci WAN settings as per the MTNL CD and other user guides. But it doesnt seem complete. In my network connection window when i ask vista to resolve the problem it says that there is some DNS server prob. Does the mtnl guy assign some IP address at the time of installation that i have to input ???

PLease help me guys !!!

functioning improperly means, the modem would hand every 5 mins into the connection and the connection was too slow for a couple of days. so i thot reset would do the trick and it will start working properly again. now after going through the entire wan set up process from the mtnl cd, when all connections are done, the power, xdsl and ethernet lights are static as before and the status light keeps blinking. however it doesnt connect. in the router config page, under device info it shows disconnected and doesnt give any ip address or default gatewaye below that. i completely followed the standard configuration procedure that is given in the manual from the mtnl cd. the auto repair service of vista says that there may be dns prob. in the router config DNS tab the preferred ip and secondary ips are showing as blank.

i m not familiar with this modem(dont have it).......

go to modem settings page,in wan settings change pppoe/pppoa to bridge mode,

save and restart modem, then while its rebooting go to windows tcp/ip setting and assign an ip address to ur lancard, input default gateway (modem ip) and input opendns address which u can find from google.

check the connection now...
