Thread: MTNL Broadband: Huge Discrepancy in Actual Usage & usage as shown on MTNL Site

Guys on alcatel i.e. users with 'at the rate a' at the end of their user kindly tell me if there is some kind of a discrepancy on the usage being shown on MTNL site on November 22nd, between 22:16 hrs and 23:58 hrs. I say this because on Nov. 22nd I left home at around 18:45hrs and came home sometime at 23:15 hrs. There was nobody else at my place and my computer and modem were both turned off. Still in the above mentioned time the triband usage site shows that I have downloaded 1243.83MB. Now that is totally ridiculous. I am on the 849NU plan and I have almost used my day time limit of 1.25GB. That is why I am even more pissed. I need to pay Rs. 1000 more for some mysterious usage. To add to it I noticed today that(Nov 24th) when I logged into triband usage site that the last usage after Nov 23rd(04:17hrs) is not being shown.

Is there anybody else with such a problem? I have already complained to MTNL people but I dont expect any positive outcome.
