Default mtnl adsl and pronet wi-fi router querries

    hello to everyone out there,

i m gonna get a mtnl dsl 849nu plan soon at my place.
i've even asked for the rental modem from mtnl.
now, what i wanna know is,

1... can i connect mtnl's cable directly to the pronet wireless-g router (pn-108wrt), which i already possess i.e. without ordering an adsl modem.
if the above is not possible then,

2... how can i connect that adsl which mtnl's gonna provide, with my pronet wireless-g router (pn-108wrt), which i already possess.

3... i've read on many forums that mtnl's d-link modems often hang, so should i buy a different adsl modem. if yes. then which one.

    pls. reply soon.
    regards, j.m.g.

A1. Does the pronet wireless-g router (pn-108wrt) contain built-in ADSL2+ modem? If yes, then you can use it. Else you will need an ADSL2+ modem also separately.

A2. Please refer to the many basic guides in Broadband How to section.

A3. I cannot comment on this. But MTNL will provide at least one year warranty on the modem.
