    Hi,
    If you are using Rapidshare and megaupload etc. then it's not your connections fault, it's these websites, they limit the amount of download speed to normal users, only premium users can have high download speeds. So, if you're getting low speeds without any premium account then that is completely normal

    it is depend on hosting site that amount remaining bandwidth available for free user.
    i'm getting speed from hosting site as free user,

    RS= minimum 50kBps,
    MU= 150kBps to 500kBps,
    FF=125kBps,
    NL= minimum 150kBps,
    MF=Min. 250kBps to 450kBps,
    DF= minimum 50kBps

    for torrent it is depend on seeding.
    Torrent= Maximum 200kBps

    i'm new user of mtnl; so, It's my just 3 days experience.:scooter:

    Hi Manas27587, you said you are using some download managers and speed jumps over 100kbps, can you please share what download manager software you use.

    Sinc eeven I am a subscriber of MTNL 849 NU plan I never get speed above 30-40 kbps in nights (for rapidshare, easy-share, depositfiles, etc download). Also connection keeps on breaking if i try to download the file of about 100kbps from rapidshare.

    Also does calling up MTNL helpdesk for speed issues work, please suggest.
