Rep Power: 2 | Hi everyone I was thinking of switching over to MTNL broadband as I've heard some positive response from people about it. I am a very active internet user and so I cannot stand anything less than those 'Unlimited' plans that broadband companies offer. I am interested in knowing more about this plan: delhi(dot)mtnl(dot)net(dot)in/commercial/mtnl_500.htm (Sorry, can't post links, hehehe, I'm new Scheme 'B'. It is said there that I have to pay 700Rs for Unlimited internet access and all the language written after that is going above my head, so if anyone can explain it better, I'd be really greatful. Now, a couple of questions are in my mind... 1. I already have a Tata Indicom landline connection and I don't want any MTNL phone, so do I have to get a new MTNL connection with this plan? 2. They talk about a 'Security Deposit' of Rs 3000, and I was like 'whoa wth!' lol, I think the security deposit is only for people who want a phone with their connection, but I may be wrong, someone please correct me on this. 3. Lastly, it says 'Monthly Rental plus usage charges of Rs.700', does that mean I only have to give Rs.700 per month? Alright, that's too many questions, probably I'm confused with all this 'cause I have a cold...*achooo*...*sniff* hehe, sorry. Someone who has that plan (and those who don't Thanks in advance, Cheers and Merry Xmas |

Rep Power: 1 | Mtnl broadband unlimited 256kbps plan is avilable for Rs.550. They also take a modem rental of Rs.50 (optional). Also, a phone connection is compulsory although you may not use it. Please consult mtnl @ 1500 or 22221500 for security deposit info. |
