torrent prob hi guys..m using 256kbps UL cnnctn...prob is m not able to get good dwnld speeds on torrents...it never goes above 10kbps,or sometimes 15kbps if m lucky...but wen i dwnld thru rapidshare i get normal speed of 28-29kbps...i have tried same torrent link on my friends cnnctn who is having same speed ...hes getting 25-26kbps ...wats d prob wid my cnnctn??
Use utorrent.
See if there is a green circle at the bottom panel with a tick-mark on it ?

the green icon states that the port is forwarded properly , and are receiving the u torrent connections

It's really good. I prefer it over utorrent and Vuze.

Wat difference do you with that of utorrent ?I'm using Bitcomet.
It's really good. I prefer it over utorrent and Vuze.

It has more kickoff power and consistency than utorrent.
I have always heard people say, and really felt myself that in utorrent, you get to some reasonable speed after about 10-15 mins.
But, when I started using Bitcomet, I get some reasonable speed (for good torrents) just in the first min.
I have tried to download the same thing with utorrent and Bitcomet and really found difference in their speeds.
Bitcomet is also good for other downloads. I now download everything with it.
Also, the Comet Passport gives you more resources.

Hmmm, seems like this case is very much relative. Because in my case I found utorrent to be the fastest one. Yes, i have used them all. But anyway, this doesnt matter, as long as we all get good speed and seed as much as we can, we will all live happily ever after.

Problems with torrent For the past 10-15 days, torrents do not seem to be working for me.
I have tried using utorrent and bit torrent both. But the downloads just do not start. Previously I used to get good speed, sometimes upto 200 Kbps. I have made no changes to any settings. Do not know what the problem is. Can anyone please help if they have faced such problem before. Thanks.
