there are so many router available in the market, however it will be best it u ask MTNL to provide u with a wifi router. This is so, if u buy yr own router MTNL will not provide u with tech support of the router, anyways there service level is so dismal.
    Best of luck with MTNL

    Hi,
MTNL provides only ADSL modem/router (non Wi-Fi). you have to get your own Wi-Fi router, DLink is good if not the best. I am a MTNL user for quite some time, unlimited plan and haven't had any probs so far, except for speeds which drops down to 20/30 kbps during office hours. Maybe I am one of those lucky few.

i think you r wrong. I too have an MTNL unlimited connection (256 Kbps) & they provided me a trendchip wi-fi modem @ Rs.75/month rental. I get speeds around 27 Kbps. MTNL will not provide technical support if you purchase your own modem
