Hi Guys....

I m using MTNL 599 Unlimited Plan .......i hve SAM300 router from mtnl bt i m not able to do the port forwrding for uTorrent to increase the downloading speed....?????? NEED HELP ON THIS....!!!!

Can any one tell me how can i increase the speed of uTorrent downloading....?????

Please find attachment below regarding the screen shot of MTNL SAM 300 router. I just want to knw how to do port forwarding.

When i use uTorrent a red signal appears at the bottom which shows { not contactable ....a firewall or router is limiting your netwrk traffic. You need to open a port so that other can connect to you }


kIndly hellp on dis...........as dwnloading speed is nt coming as it should be with 256 kbps plan

ok here's how you do it..
Go to the Virtual server page ( the first screenshot in the document) and fill in these values. In this example : i wish to open port 5678 . and my pc's ip is 192.168.1.10

Rule index - leave it to 1
Ignore application
leave protocol to ALL
Start port number = end port number = 5678
Local ip address - 192.168.1.10

Then click on SAVE..
To find out your ip address, go to the command prompt and type ipconfig . There you should see an ip address . it would be of the form 192.168.1.x .. replace 192.168.1.10 with this value..
