Default help needed in using voip with linksys WAG54G2

    Hi,

    I am having various problems.

    I have MTNL triband

I have connected linksys WAG54G2 router in bridge mode to Huawei smartax MT882 router provided by MTNL. It is working but how to enable Dhcp

    I have the following confg:

    Ip address - 192.168.1.6
    subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    default gateway: 192.168.1.1
    DNS servers : 59.179.243.70 and 203.94.243.70

If I go to the Smartax MT882 settings to enable DHCP it asks for following. What should I fill in in these fields? Waht should be the DNS servers

    DHCP
    DHCP Server
    Client IP Pool Starting Address
    Size of Client IP Pool
    Primary DNS Server
    Secondary DNS Server
    Remote DHCP Server
DHCP Lease Time Days Hours Min

Also how to connect to my linksys router. With the default address it goes to the mtnl router. The linksys router was not installed by me so I dont know its IP adress how to connect to it now?

Also I want to use freecall Voip. Do I need to swich on DHCP servise for that?

    Please help

    regards

    Sumir

    Default

one way of setting this up , it keeping the mtnl modem in bridged mode and your linksys router in pppoe mode.. in most cases the linksys router would be in its default ip address..
So what you can do is , Disable DHCP in mtnl, Enable dhcp in linksys.. DNS servers can be 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
