Default Getting MTNL - Multiple Phone jacks a problem ?

    Hi,
I am getting MTNL triband in my apartment. I have 6 phone jacks in my apartment ( all with internal wiring ) for using phones in different rooms. However, my phone is plugged to only one jack. Will this affect my connection speed ( just having idle jacks & multiple joints ?)

    Regards

Use the ADSL splitter to connect the single phone.
In other rooms where paralle llines are given Use EXTRA
    adsl splitter. for each phone.

Like I said, I am not using any phones in any of the other jacks. Do I still need to install splitters on those jacks ?

However, the telephone wire is a 3-pair connection and I have intercom on the second pair in the cable, going to a different jack on the wall. Not sure if that makes any difference (me thinks, it should not)

But this is a separate pair. How will this affect the connection. It is like a second line.

    The picture of (BSNL)

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...connection.jpg
    clearly shows
    NO PARALEL CONNECTION
    from the main Phone PORT/JACK.

As per schematic diagram, Data signals are blocked from
    entering the telephone instrument.
( frequencies involved are different )

YOU can use any number of ADSL SPLITTER for each extension
    telephone. .
