Thread: MTNL Trendchip HG520

I was having mt882 previously which was changed to some unknown model for some time now i have trendchip hg520 (4 LAN) it disconnect frequently every min with normal windows config of link speed and duplex set to automatic or 100mbps full duplex but with the setting changed to 10mbps full duplex it work fine...

i was having both the modem as the line man took the other one from me after 4-5 days so i got a chance to check the issue...

so my finding is that this is the problem only with this wireless modem as i check it with the previous modem it worked fine with that...

And also how can i update the firmware of this modem anyone here tried it before on this modem...

I am also trying to find firmware of hg 520 , not available, and this disconnection problem seems to be bit if hardware side. since i have tried almost all the settings. I am going to mtnl tommorow to get this **** box replaced with some another brand. since huaei is aldo not providing firmware upgrade for this.
