Default unable to configure linksys WRH54G wireless-G home router with UT-300R2U

    Hi All,
I have read and tried to implement the steps mentioned in multiple machines connecting to same BB connection but I am still unable to get connected to the internet.

The status tab at 192.168.1.1 for wrh54g still shows disconnected with no IP address's.
My ADSL is already configured to PPPoE (I need to connect both PC and laptop).
But when I try to configure the wrh54g (DHCP) according to the steps I fail.

I have read the previous posts on this but still not able to succeed. The required screenshots have been attached, if it helps.

    Please help. Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    punol

disable DHCP in linksys and enable DHCP in ADSL, connect from LAN port of DSL to LAN port of linksys

    Hi,
1.) Linksys WRH54G is the wireless router I am trying to use.

Sorry sir, I am not able to grasp the reason for quoting and asking me to refer router status help.
    Can you kindly elaborate.
    Thanks for your time.
    Punol.

    Hi,
sorry if I mislead you. I was refering to the second attachment which I have here(wrh54g2). I do not have any real address in IP and gateway (I believe tha means its unable to connect).
Correct me if I am wrong.
    Regards,
    punol.

If you wish to provide Ip address thru your modem then enable DHCP server in it, but if you wish to do it thru linksys then disable it. Provide a static IP to linksys & let it's dhcp server provide the IP's. Also connect the lan cable from modem to internet port (yellow color) of linksys. Linksys will provide IP address in the series of 192.168.0.x

I was not able to open the attachments (jpg's and attachments are blocked at office).

    But do the following:

    Configure UT-300R2U
    1. Configure UT-300R2U in PPPoE mode. Give it the lan ip address as 192.168.1.1.
    2. Make sure DHCP is enabled in UT-300R2U.

    Configure WRH54G
    3. Most Linksys routers have more or less same user interface. Use the guide (Solution for multiple machines connecting to same BB connection).
    4. Make sure that the LAN IP address is 192.168.2.1
    5. I advice you to keep DHCP = ON on this router also.
    6. If you are giving static IPs to your PC (How to set TCP/IP settings), make sure that these are set as:

    IP: 192.168.2.10
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.68.2.1
