Thread: Unable to configure Netgear WGR614v9 with Sterlite modem

hii.
i have a Netgear WGR614v9 wireless router. and Sterlite SAM300AX modem given to me by MTNl..
i am not able to configure the settings for both of dem to use net simultaneously on my desktop(wired nd using XP) nd on laptop(wirelessly nd using Vista)

someone told me this ..
connect ur desktop to wgr614v9 thru a cable and then the wireless routrer to saterlite modem which is connected tru telephone cable to the main line.
m not able to assign ip address, subnet mask,default gateway nd DNS servers for router, desktop, laptop.. pls help..

some confusion about LAn ports.
Ensure you get connected to Internet and surf.
confirm.

Then transfer the Rj45 from computer end
to Netgear. WAN /Internet port.
From Lan1 to 4 ( any) another rj45 to computer.

My Part (): Setting NETGEAR Wireless Router WGR614v7 for BSNL broadband
confirm Internet surfing Ok.

Then try WIFI.

NOTE: In Both desktop and laptop select
Obtain IP address automatically.
DNS automatically. SAVE .Apply.
