Thread: MTNL Triband Broadband ADSL Blinking

From mid May i am facing Internet problems. I can't download nor can i browse through websites. The Adsl light continously starts blinking after every 1 min. I have checked my connections (have already lodged complaint with mtnl to check my telephone line). Reset settings of my router n number of times. Still the issue persists. Kindly let me know what to do. i am using Dlink DSL-2640T wireless ADSL router and have unlimited plan and from mumbai.

I had this similar issue and once I surrendered BSNL - BB connection !

The reasons could be :

You may complain to BSNL to check the line - you may request for re-punching the lines or to change the pair. this is done by your area line man from BSNL.

Once the above is done, you may check your internal wiring (cabling). We generally take tel. cable along with (conduit) electrical cable. This is not a correct method. You may check/try by putting off the other equipments which has come along with your tel. cable. If ADSL start blinking when you start any of the buttons, you take attention to remove that cable (wiring) away from your tel line. It is basically disturbing your BB connection. Taking power cable and tel. cable through one conduit will not affect your voice communication, but it will sometimes affect your broadband connection.
