Thread: Disgraced PSU MTNL

Worst ISP in MUMBAI is MTNL. It is high time to close it down or handover to private operators, immediately. Disgraced Call centers 1504, disconnect your call without answering when your turn reaches the online help assistant. Why are you forcing them to work when they want to avoid. Technical assistance from SERVER centers, DTE External who are responsible for service hate your calls and do not receive your phone. I tried GMs office and DGMs office, their PAs are very helpful, but you canot go on bothering them always. Technical persons who have to work do not bother, then how Broadband works. My connection is from Nityanandnagar Exchange. DNS server refuses my connection every two minutes, and Internet is down for two days to lodge complaint and restart. All you get a phone from operator asking whether your phone is working, and no more. My internet is down repeatedly for last 6 months. I took my modem personally and got it replaced, when MTNL did not even bother to attend to my complaint. it is high time MTNL opens a technical cell in QCS cells, intead of limiting to only Commercial matter. Make the name of Technical officer responsible to serve customer public. Make sure they do not switch of their mobiles to avoid customer. Try ringing the call center 1504 and see the torure you under go. All these are for SENIOR officers of MTNL to ceck for themselves. God save the MTNL Broadband customers of Nityanandnagar Exchange. Is GM concerned listening.
If GM desires I can call on him to explain the matter in person, if he desires to set things right.

Ps: My connection is Broadband through ADSL- Sterlite.

According to me its best in term of cost & all my 1504 calls have been attended.If you have to change modem you can go to your JE.If your grievances are genuine you can go Destrict Consumer Courts.This trolling & maligning will not achieve anything.

dunno man... my experience has been great ! and the customer service too. i just sent them an email and the problem was fixed within the hour !

Until & Unless ISP & government thinks Bandwidth as necessity not Luxury nothing will change. It's been 4-5 years since TRAI made 256k minimum for broadband and after that TRAI never thought single what has changed in 4-5 years.

They need to implement new rule 1mbits minimum for broadband. If any ISP don't want to give 1mbits then they probably don't have infrastructure so they shouldn't be bothered to run as ISP. It's like providing Power from 1951 plants which are still alive and providing power across nation. Upgrade infrastructure think wisely and make Internet affordable and faster for everyone.

I lmao when i saw Airtel 16mbps with 4gb volume. Why are they even bothering with 16mbps? why don't they make 1mbits unlimited packages and 2mbits 60 gb packages instead of wasting bandwidth like that? Stupid marketing

Btw 3 days back something happened at MTNL my speed jumped to 23mbits from 256k O.o...lol i am happy as ****
