Rep Power: 0  |  PC formatted - Configuration for GLB-802C I just formatted my PC and installed the onboard realtek driver fro my mobo installation CD. The rest of the modem settings were unchanged and when I switched on the modem, the LAN and ADSL lights are glowing. But I can't surf the internet. I feel like I'm missing out on something basic. My comp is set up with dynamic ip address config. When I tried to ping the screen dissappeared automatically after 2 tries. I am a noob so will appreciate detailed answers. Thanks! |

Rep Power: 12  | IF you formatted your PC and loaded the Ether net card drivers, THEN assuming you have not chnaged modem settings Start Network LAN Properties Click TCP/IP properties Select Obtain IP address automatically or enter 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1 DNS present entries or Open DNS 208.67.220 220 208067.222.222 APPLY Save.
