Thread: uncontrolled internet traffic

since last few months i am encountering a strange problem of continous
internet traffic on my pc even though i have not logged yet ,also the traffic
continues even if I switch my browser off.
the antivirus that I have installed doesn't show any problem even after
thouroughly scanning the disks
what could be the problem and the solution to it

->Are you using a software client to log in ?

->Are you also connected to a LAN network ?

-> what anti-virus do you use ?

-> Which network monitor did you use to find out about this illicit traffic ?

which firewall do u use?

Try Bitmeter. It has a graphical interface which shows if there is a downloading the background.

Also scan using CA Yahoo Antispy (Top 7 Tips.... in my signature ). Use a registry cleaner like CCleaner and scan the registry (Also from the same link).

do you have a wifi network? does it keep blinking even after you switch off your machine?
