Thread: details of internet download

hi everyone

i wish to know if one can know the details of internet usage one has done
in a day ; in the sense that the usage i do by surfing doesn't tally with the
usage shown by my isp's usage.is there any software to know the exact
details ? kindly let me know and oblige
as far as i know the DU METER etc give the total amount of upload and
download but don't give further breakups of that
