I think your modem is faulty. Go to your JE & tell him your problem. He will send you to service room & you can change your modem three for free. I am assuming you have modem from MTNL.

Modem cannot be faulty. If it was many other sites would not work. The problem is probably with the MTNL website.

    PROBLEM
I try to change it on modem's page either it shuts down or the page
    doesn't open

    1.
Post your modem make and model.
and modem log in Id and PW. ( hope you had not changed them )
Screen shot of PW change page .

    2.
You have changed your password in MTNL site.
    say from abcd1234 to zxyw9876
    Was it saved ?
    If so
It appears you are On "always On" mode,
Inwhich case you should have lost connection to Internet !

If you are on "Dialer" mode then you could connect with new pw
    zxyw9876.
    please confirm.

In BSNl my user ID password is same for past two years !

Well , in my case when I change my settings it reflects easily. I can change my password in the modem easily.

I think he should specify his plan type more & problem more.

Fact of matter is that his modem is not able to adjust to new settings on mtnl site. This is quite a new thing. I have never heard of it. He should tells us whether his connection is lost or not. He might be asking this question from a internet cafe.

PS:I tested mtnl site by changing my password it is working fine.
