Is there a way I can figure out my waiting list no.? I forgot to ask at the time of applying how much waiting list is there

more bhaiya, which waiting list are you talking about. There are many kinda waiting lists. If you are asking about waiting lists for college admission do clarify.

MTNL will be able to tell you your waiting list number, for whatever it is.

I am surprised there is a waiting list for MTNL connections.
Why won't they give a connection immediately?

me 2 was surprised.... after applying i called dem since no reply after 2 days and the mtnl operator drops a bomb: "haaaaaaaaaaannnnnn, 15 din lag jata hain, waiting mein hain, pata nahi hai kya.............15 din baad phone karna.............. teen teen teen (engage).........

ya, its kinda surprisin how many ppl still want an mtnl connection despite so many providers out there

Its because govt. ISP are cheaper & best in term of money value. I don't believe that MTNL is taking more than 15 days. 15 days is the limit last time I check.
