Rep Power: 1   |  Independence Day Dhamaka Reports hey guys, happy post independence day to u all, this thread is for all the mumbaikars on Unlimited Triband plans. MTNL has announced the Doubling of bandwidth for its unlimited plans for existing users from 15th August 2009. and new users / migrating users from 1st September 2009. Please give out a report on when u started receiving the double Speed benifit from, here. also state weather u had to call up the Mtnl Babus, or they did it automatically. also i have posted an pic in the attachment of the ADSL Downstream/Upstream data of my current plan. please give out some details of ur own modem. thank you. |

Rep Power: 1 |  Alright guys, i finally was able to get through to the Prabhadevi exchange and had to talk to the nice lady for 15 mins and now i have the 512 kbps Unlimited connection. of course its only giving me a bandwidth of 450 kbps, but thats the usual, so i don't mind. speed-test.net results are posted here. i live in the Powai Exchange Area. You will have to talk to the Prabhadevi Exchange people to get the double speed. Local Exchange guys say that they have not received the memo for this offer.
