Thread: retrieveing the passwords of pppoe account??

i am using a mtnl broadband account, having DSL 502T ADSL Router. i want to uncover the masked password in the pppoe configuration page of my router.

i have tried old days tool like 007 password recovery in win98,winXP.... but nothing seems to work on the configuration page.

Is there is anyhow that we can retrieve the password from backed up configuration file of the router or just can sniff the WAN(ADSL) port of the router when it is intiating the connection to get the password.


NOTE: in here i am not looking for the router admin password.

If you want to change the password... why dont u go to register.mtnl.com and change the password from there... ?
