    Exclamation Mtnl torrent problem

    hello guys recently i got my mtnl broadband with 1mb unlimited tho my direct download is working fine and i am geting more then 200 kbps download speed but when i try to download from torrent i do not get more then 28 kbps even the torrent have good seeds . i also added Fowarding ports but still luck . can any one help me i am using Sterlite SAM300 AX ADSL modem...

    u maybe right bahugunas, but im also experiencing the same problem with sterlite sam200.i think there's a problem with this modem or router (whatever it is)it restricts the speed to very much extent .i suggest the user to try other modems and plz tell me also if anything works.

    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 445 (microsoft-ds).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 1433 (ms-sql-s).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 1521 (ncube-lm).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 1723 (pptp).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 3306 (mysql).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 3389 (ms-wbt-server).
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 5900 ().
    59.177.195.223 isn't responding on port 8080 (webcache).

    this is the result for the test.....now what does this mean???
    i know i m acting childish..but what else to do ?? i m not getting it to work.

    ok here is the solution:
    first of all open internet explorer
    >type this ip address 192.168.1.1
    >user name admin
    >password admin
    in your router setting page

    >click on advanced setup tab..ok..then
    >click on NAT
    >after this click on Virtual Server

    >a page will opns

    type this setting
    application: utorrent (or whatever torrent client you are using)
    protocol: ALL
    start port number:45682
    end port number:45682
    local ip adress: your static ip number(ip you are not able to find ur static ip den replyme)

    after this click on
    save !! done

    you'll have to configure your utorret client for static port)
    if u cant then reply me 4 this also ok keep enjoying happy downloding!

    Question smtp port

    Hi,
    I have the same problem but for smtp.
    It shows smtp port is not responding whereas i had already open the port 25 via the virtual server.
    Not what can be done. Please let me know next month is my presentation of my website in my college which has contact us mail via php mailer

    smtp port 25 is used for mail applications like OE/Outlook etc.
    Check here.

    Your website. are you using DDNS etc ? Mention modem used .

    Default mtnl 450tc1 nat problem while downloading torrents in vuze

    hi i have the nat problem as stated in the subject above

    my wireless adsl modem is the 450tc1

    under the advanced menu i have under the nat menu and then the virtual server menu , in which please do guide me what i should input
    in the
    1) start port number
    2)end port number

    and

    3)start port number (local)
    4) end port number (local)

    in the application box i have typed VUZE but there is next to it a drop down box with various selection in which i have selected (-) the dash

    in the vuze programme it shows me the following
    INCOMING TCP LISTEN PORT 38941

    INCOMING UDP LISTEN PORT 28938

    450TCI also listed.

    Firmware Version : V85.2.04.02

    ADSL Firmware Version : FwVer:3.12.8.201_TC3086 HwVer:T14.F7_7.0


    also checked the portforwarrding instructions for WA3002-g1

    but it is slightly different as in vuze programme

    i have a seperate tcp and udp port numbers

    and in the 450tc1 programme as stated earlier there are extra boxes to fill that is the

    start port number (local) and end port number (local)

    also i could not locate the instructions for the 450tc1 in the said sit

    please do write if you can offer any further assistance
