Thread: Need help to boost my download speed on u torrent

Frendz,

I have been using MTNL broadband for past 2 years.......... recently i have changed my plan from unlimited 512 kbps to 384 kbps........ now my downloading speed in utorrent has reduced to 10 kB/s sometimes it goes down to even 1 or 2 kB/s ............ have gone through many foums on how to boost the speed Even tried to do port forwarding.......... but no vain........ speed has not changed........ on checking whether port is properly forwarded or not found that it shows error on utorrent site
(mssg An error has occurred! Port 24019 does not appear to be open.)

my modem model is DNA-A201SM (which is provided by MTNL)

can you please guide me how can i boost the speed??? Does port forwarding help for MTNL users?????? If yes please guide me how to forward the port correctly.
