Thread: they put me on wring plan

Finally i got the connection and working properly

I was surprised too see speed of upto 2Mbps as i was downloading videos from youtube this continued for a day

THen i called up the customer care and asked which is my plan they told me i was on 999.00 1 Mbps plan .I was shocked as i has appled for 512 Kbps plan then they told me to call up the MTNL office a jogeshwari where i had submitted the forms .I called up there after a long delay they told me they have provided me with the plan but it cant be changed before April 1 and i would have to foot the bill

Although i am happy with the speed but there is frequent disconnection of internet the Link button in starlite modem keeps on blinking every 15 to 20 minutes and i have to restart the modem . which takes atleast 5 minutes to stabilize

Its a combination of your Antivirus and Anti spyware applications running on your computer which is causing you frequent loss of connectivity

Which anti virus are you using . how many anti spyware softwares are installed, How many Firefox extensions installed. How much RAM installed ..Is your Windows genuine ... If its genuine you should install http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ and remove all other anti spyware softwares and your loss of connectivity problem will be solved

If it's genuine then Windows does have a tool to regain connectivity

The main reason of disconnection is low SNR Margin and high Attenuation.

when u applied for 512kbps unlimited plan it was of rs 999 only .

but now they have increased thr speed to 1Mbps but still charging same ...

u must have applied for 512combo ul plan which is of 1 mb now
