    Default Pls help me with port forwarding

    I have MTNL T-KD-318-EUI modem
    i want to setup a cs server but the problem is i can't open the required ports i've tried
    1)port forwarding
    2)DMZ option in the modem menu
    3)closed the system as well as the modem firewall
    but still the port seems to be closed!!
    Can anyone help?

    Try the best three ports:
    1. 1
    2. 6969
    3. 65535

    All three will work..........
    But the best is to 2nd one.

    I have already tried That software but without luck!
    It doesn't work!! Atleast not for me!

    k........igot the prob i am ussing PPPoE mode i tried switching to bridged mode but then i lost my connection i mean the modem still sgowed to be connected but my connection won't work!
    Can anyone please tell me in detail how this bridged mode works?
    I mean in detail enlighten me abut the bridged mode n how to configure it!!

    k.......i got the problem.......tanx every1 for u'r supprot and a special tanx to gaggan4392 for helping me out.........appreciate all u'r effort

    Are you using USB Port of the modem ?
    can you access the modem pages again /
    Select the WAN page and select "Bridged' button.
    Save reboot. wait for two minutes.


    Use the dialer to connect.
    feedback,
    if connection restored or not .

    download stl port forward...and enter the port u want to open..done

    port forwarding is easy...
