    Default Proxy Server

    Hi,
    Various sites can be used as proxy servers for anonymous browsing.How do i configure applications (not browsers) on single pc to use/connect through proxy servers sites? I have a MTNL broadband connection

    Why do you want to use proxy server???
    Do you have static IP?
    Because using of Proxy may slow down your internet and increase your ping.

    You can use proxy 127.0.0.1 and port 3456

    Default proxy server

    I want to use proxy server to spoof my ip to a US based server for VOIP programs so that I can get additional talktime.VOIP softwares detect Indian IP and limit to single call to the us of 4 mins.But if it is a US IP I get unlimited talktime cause US to US is free.Thes voip dialers are not web browser based.

    As I told,
    You can use proxy 127.0.0.1 and port 3456.
    It will work.

    Go to it`s options and you will find an option of proxy in it.
    If you find it then give a screen shot of the proxy settings, i will tell you how to set proxy.

    just try it, it will not allow any website or application to detect your real IP
