Default DNA A212 Port Forwarding Issues

    Hey,

I just got the MTNL DNA A212 Wi-Fi router installed few weeks back, and i am facing the problem of not getting the actual speeds available from torrents as i am not able to forward ports for the torrent.

PS: Port Forwarding for other clients such as Counter Strike and AoE are working, but uTorrent doesn't.
As i was able to forward ports on my previous router properly, i think its something related to this particular DNA A212 router.

You may try, keeping U/L speed to minimum in torrents.

    Lightbulb Done!!

Thanx for all the replies but they werent fruitful. I already knew of port forwarding sites, but that wasnt the problem. The problem was with torrent port forwarding that came specific to DNA - A212.

I had already forwarded ports for u torrent but it was not working properly.

I fiddled with many different thing on the router till i found the solution.

    The solution :

The Configured the DMZ server to 192.168.1.xyz where xyz is the last octant of my IP address.

And then the normal port forwarding started to work.

PS: There was a new problem with the same Router that i am still using, that it had 2 condensors and they overdid their task whenever i turned my router off/on. This led my router to a frekish ping pong game of lights that almost never stooped. Hence the result once again :

Firmware update that i recieved today resolved that particular problem.

i have a copy of the firmware if any1 needs it, find a link to it.

Hope that i solved problem that some of u might have been having
