    Angry New Connection MTNL triB user Experience.

    I had got a new Broadband connection (TriB 599 Combo) from MTNL New Delhi 2 weeks ago. Ever since it’s installation I started facing Sevier problems in Network connection. I had made so many complaints to MTNL Customer care but instead of healing it they give excuses. (24th of May Broadband Docket # 2817)

    be tough while speaking to the cc if u just register a complaint its of no use in mtnl call them and threaten them about consumer court and so on

    lol dont threathen them so fast! HAHA!

    Visit your local tel.exchange & ask them to send a techinician to your house.

    Pay them a bribe of Rs.100 LOL

    Please specify what problem are you facing with network connection coz if its not a line fault then MTNL will not take ownership of this issue and they will not help you for your local computer problem.

    If you are facing any issue with router then call them for replacement but if its not router or line then best idea is to contact computer vendor who can help you fix the problem or update here for community support.

    Today afternoon two Representative came to my home and they checked all wiring, CPE and my computer too whether if the wiring or setting problem in my computer after checking they said every thing is normal here and they leave to MTNL, after few hours i received a call from MTNL and they informed me that my CPE is defective and they said come to office we will give other CPE but when we reached in MTNL the office ware closed and i hope i will get new CPE tomorrow.
    one thing i want to share the technician who came to install (on 15th of May 2010) my CPE during the first installation it was old and it looks like they used it some where but when i asked him about this he says i know it is good one but even if you face any problem we will replace it. (now i came to know how is difficult to get new one and i contacted to GM too because ther are not receiving my call also).

    so it is my request to all of you please make sure your CPE is new one not used one. and don't buy from the market otherwise they will blame you about your CPE (but temporally you can use your own and during the failure connect the MTNL CPE

    so now i hope every thing will all right

    Today we visited to MTNL office to get another CPE but I am sorry again they gave used CPE (when I asked to give new one they said we don’t have stock) and when I came back it is not working also. And we contact them they said we will call you after 5 minutes but “5Minutes” not yet comes.
    What kind of this people and MTNL? Even they send a bill 1162 Rupees a after I got connection which I paid already. What is this?

    Finally I changed (bought) the CPE D-Link DSL-2640U now it is working fine but some time if there is no internet then we kept busy (phone receiver out from cradle So Phone kept busy) so immediately net comes. I don’t know if it is a technique or what, as a Technician of MTNL says to do this. And we are doing like that.

    Hi,
    now it is almost one month (with some bitterness experience) passed of my Triband connection of MTNL Delhi and conclusion is i am 75% satisfied with their service, i hope it may go to 100%
