Thread: Reduced Speed

I had subscribed for dSL495 combo plan 3 months back.
According to this plan download speed is 320kb/s
For previous 2 months i got around 200k/s.I think thats what i shud be getting, but in this month max speed i get is 40 kb/s.
I dont know what is the issue. Please help....

DSL 495 UL is the only combo plan and its speed is 320kbps( in kilobits).
Convert kilobits into kilobytes by dividing the value by 8.
So the max speed for UL Combo 495 UL is 320kbps/8 = 40KBps( in kilobytes).

Before you were getting 2mbps which is 2000kbps/8 = 250KBps.
And now you are getting proper speeds.

hey i dont think so...because i had done speed tests previously in results showed tht my download speed is "320 kbps" nd even then my actual download speed was about 200 kb/s.
and i did my speed tests not for once but for 4-5 times.

Even now my speed test results show 320 kb/s as previous but download speed has reduced to 40kb/s.

and let me also tell you that my brother is using unlimited999 plan which provides 1Mbps speed but he is getting around 1-1.5 Mb/s actual download speed. So you mean to say that his actual speed is 12 Mbps???????

The speed here in the result quite matches your plan speed!

Acc. to me,there are no issues in speed

Correct Before the speeds were high and now the speed is perfect.

speed 338kbps which is around 320kbps, so no issue.
