Default Sterlite SAM300AX and Netgear WGR614

I have a Sterlite SAM300AX router with a mtnl unlimited connection. I would like to use my Netgear WGR614 wireless router with it so that i have WiFi available. I am able to create the WiFi network buy putting a ethernet cable from the Sterlite SAM300AX router into the Netgear WGR614 wireless router, but i don't know how to password protect my WiFi network. I would also like to know how i can create a home network using the two devices ( as in print via the network from my laptop and share files on the network). Can somebody please help me. ??

So all you require is to create a wireless network with your new wireless router using MTNL sterlite modem, Right?
For this simply refer the manual of your router.
    Basic info:
Their are certain types of security than you can enable with your router such as WPA, WEP etc.

Refer this link for further info.
