Smile Surfing problem when downloading in MTNL

    Hey guys...
I have a triband connectiona at my home.....
when ever i am starting downloading with any clinet may be Apex DC++ or Bit torrent ; even if my internet connection is on and my downloading is still on i cant open any site with my downloading on..Not even google... I mean is this normal... Because with my previous internet connection this kind of problem has never happened...in my previous internet connection my downloading speed would go down while i open any sites.

I have changed my service provider but i just cant open any site while downloading ....
Moreover at some times even at my peak download speed i can open sites with nice speed but most of the time this is not the case...
'Is this because of virus or any other thing..
    Can this be fixed...
Modem which i m using is
    Sterlite
    SAM300-AX
One line from telephone main goes to splitter : from splitter one to my telephone device and one to my Modem. From modem it goes to my LAN card.
My internet connection speed is 752 kbps.....
Please help because this is causing a lot of problem....
    Thanks anyways !!!!

The reason you are not able to surf is because all the speed is caught by torrent, limit your download rate to 64kBps and upload to 15kBps while surfing, then report here.

    I agree
But there may be a problem with your browser
If you are using IE,try installing firefox or chrome

You may try open d.n.s. 208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    This may solve your problem
And keep in mind that always limit your download limit before surfing.....
Even with open d.n.s. still you have to set the download and upload limit respectively!Even after doing that changing browser, changing lan address and limiting downlaod upload rate, your browsing speed is still same, then please report us.

Try trial and error. Limit your torrent/download speed and check at what speed you are able to browse. In the torrent client, set the priority as " normal ".

    Try Open DNS
