Default MTNL Broadband can't load webpages

Hi , I have the MTNL 512 kb/s unlimited plan and i'm not able to load certain webpages. I am able to load facebook , yahoo etc... but when i try loading the NVDIA site to download some drivers , its doesn't work.. the download doesn't start and the in firefox and internet explorer , u get page cannot be displayed. I'm used to having slow broadband in uk but there any page loads.. but here u can't even load NVDIA site and some german sites.. What is my problem and what can i do? I've tried a hard reset and all but no luck.

Try Open DNS or Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)

    What is steam ?

You can switch to Bridge mode. In bridge mode, all ports are open. Just make sure that you use a good firewall like Zonealarm or Comodo.

Please mention your modem - model and make

Log in to your modem. In " Internet connection ", you will see an entry 0_35, click " edit ". In that you will find an option to switch between PPPoE and Bridge.

As for steam, Is it a game ? Or helps playing a game. A small description will help an ignorant fellow like me.
