Thread: Help required ....MTNL Charges !!!

Hello friends,
Again i have posted some threads before and still working with how to get in touch with MTNL people.But now this is regarding my life and death !!!
just have a little confusion
This is reagrding Mumbai MTNL connection ..
Plan taken up is DSL_Unlimited_749
Now i have one more question related to MTNL charges,
I have got a new connectiona dn still have not got any bills thats y the doubt has arisen :
As per MTNL charges are as follows :-
1.Monthly DSL Minimum Usage Charges : Rs . 749 /-
2.DSL Activation & Testing Charges Rs . 300 /-
3.For Normal ADSL Modem: Rs.300/
4. Service tax :-As applicable.


Now as per this rate i think my bill should be around Rs. 1349 /- for this time as i have taken up modem and activation charges.

but i saw it today that the rate given is Minimuni Usage charge Rs. 749/(My first point )
what does it mean .. ?? why its written as minumum charge.
I hope MTNl means by umlimited is that i can use it for all the days in the month without my bill getting unchanged.

Please tell me ......
because i used it every single minute of the day in this month !!!!!
i hope it still doesnt change my Bills i.e around my estimated Rs. 1349 approx.!!!!

tell me before the bill goes to my DAD and he kicks me out of the house for this nuisance which i have done unknowingly and unintentionally !!!!

i will start pacifying my father from today if its a egative response !!!!

you have chosen unlimited plan of 749/- with 720kbps.
as its unlimited u will not be charged with modem charges. so as of now initially ur billed amt is taking into consideration the activation charges..and so. so.. roughly ur monthly charges for ur tel , if u use only for internet will be 250/- ( rent for telephone) +749/- + tax. around 1050/- .
