Thread: Wireless Setup Modem DSL-502T, Router WRH54G

Hello,

I am trying to setup a wirless connection between my MTNL modem DSL-502T and Linksys Router WRH54G but in vain till now. The modem is working fine and I can browse the internet. When i connect the router my machine recognizes it but there's no data transfer. The IP and DNS settings are set to automatic detection.

For some strange reason though I can browse the internet when connected through the modem I can't connect to 192.168.1.1 but can do it when I connect the router.

Please let me know what settings to make. i have spent more than half a day breaking my head with this.

1. Enable DHCP in DSL 502 T.

You should be on PPP/PPPoE mode[ enter userId and PW in WAN page ]
2.Linksys WRH54G

Allot different Ip number say 192.168.1.2 to WRH54G
