Default Possible Reduction in Fares ?

    As we all know,

MTNL usually reduces prices or upgrades speeds of TriBand plans

especially UN-Limited plans on 'Special Days'

    like National Holidays...

I'm hoping MTNL does this on 15th August...

like Rs. 749 for 1 Mbps instead of 752 kbps & so on...

do you all feel the prices/speeds will change even more ?

    do comment

Even though the prices here are way higher than US & most other countries,

I highly doubt that speed will be increased more than 2 times at this time...

Even though I continue to wish for prices like 20 Mbit UN-Limited for 1500/- like in US :|

This happens when MTNL doesnt incur losses like 26th Jan 2010

This financial year(1 April onwards) it is facing losses so it may not Reduce prices

I think if MTNL reduced prices further & combined it with agressive marketing...

& moreover MODERN-ised it's marketing strategy, it could do wonders !

I'm happy with their service, even though the speed is 80 % of what it should be...I think it's compensated by their service & toll-free 24x7 complaint facility :P

but it's high time they upgrade themselves, employ younger people & more importantly think younger...

they name their offers like 'SAKHI' plans ...hahahahahaha....who's gonna go for it then !?!?! ....most youngsters may not even knowing what 'SAKHI' means...hahahahahha....

recently I did face issue with 'Frequent Disconnections' took them 2 days to fix it ...problem is more or less fixed now ....just needs some tweaking.....

still feel it's much better than Hathway....had an extremely horrible experience with them...almost took them to consumer court :P
