Wireless router range I have the MTNL wireless router located in the bedroom and the laptop cannot get the signal in the hall or anywhere else. Can anyone help?
Is laptop receive signals in bedroom or not?
Is the wireless option turned on in your router settings if it doesn't work in the bedroom either?
1.
Mention modem/router model/make number.
2.
Report SNR ATTN and mod mode selected.
3.
Reposition the wifi router at a higher plane ( height)
and place the unit parallel to ground and rotate for
max signal bars in laptop in the hall.

What is the distance involved ?

try different channel 6 or 11.

"line of sight " of signals may be having some obstructions.
Confirm whether the antenna can be detached , and a beam type
( dish antenna ) tried.
