hi, i'm new to this forum.... i've brought i ball baton WRX054G wifi router to be used with Sterlite 300AX . i'm from andheri, mumbai. i just cannot connect to the net at all . According to the user guide of i ball baton , i've used these settings -

Setting 1 :Type of connection : Dynamic ip

Result : the i ball wifi router can't obtain network parameters...

Setting 2 : Type of connection : Static ip

ip address : 192.168.1.80
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default gateway : 192.168.1.1
DNS 1 : 59.185.3.10
DNS 2 : 59.185.3.11

Result : WAN IP and LAN IP cannot use same subnet. Use different ip address.

Setting 3 : Type of connection : PPPoe

Result : can't connect.

Setting 4 : Type of connection : Static ip

IP Address

:
120.63.20.63

Subnet Mask

:
255.255.255.255

Default Gateway

:
120.63.0.1

DNS Server

:
203.94.243.70

Result : Bad gateway.


i've tried a number of settings for abt 4 hrs. but i just cant seem to access internet via wifi
But i'm still able to surf net when i connect sterlite 300AX wit my pc.....

i'm loosing hope... please help me out of this rut....
