Thread: Local access only

my MTNL broad band is showing local access only for past few days,
I tried to call MTNL customer care but,they couldnt solve the problem.

MY modem is HG520 and local access is being shown for both LAN & WI fi connectivity.
I tried to access modem through 192.168.1.1 and run the diagnostics the first two test pass in there but the rest like OAM test ping fail.

few days ago it was woprking well but i had to disconnect all the wires for some maintainance purpose and when i reconnected them it didnt work at all..
through from then i have checked each and every connection lot of times its still not working,,,
pls help

Check your connections:
Presume you have not made changes in settings of modem/router c
MTNL Phone JN ===>>>RJ11==INPUT LINE of ADSL splitter.
ADSL splitter ===PHONE PORT==RJ11 all phones.
ADSL splitter====Modem ===>>>RJ11 to Modem
Modem===>>RJ45===>> to Computer LAN port.
