nope, you wont & neither will anybody else.

MTNL has a lot of growing client base & most of them on may be 512kpbs connection.... before when there were few connection i use to get 300kbps download speed on my 2MBPS for which i use to pay Rs. 10000/- now they have a restricted the speeds on the server if you have 1MBPS plan your Line Rate will be 1024kbps & not more so you are restricted.

anyone with a new connection and an Unlimited Plan can expect to get speeds of 2MBPS, until the MTNL engineer does the hard work of actually assigning you your Pan speed. it can 2 days, it can be 2 months, it can be more than a year, all depends on your luck

same here man.. used to get 2mbps first when the router page showed that much...then got limited to 320kbps.. now they increased the bandwidth to 2mbps but managed to put a cap... i was getting 2mbps on sunday but that was before the cap was put.. now back to 320kbps..
