    Default hello

    Hello
I juss bought a Netgear DGN1000 ADSL2+ modem router and earlier I had an MTNL HG 520 Wireless modem router.According to the range of the new router my house is a little big I suppose and it cannot be replaced.I need to know is there any way that I can use my MTNL router as a Wireless bridge which works as a Range extender for my router? as I have seen bridge interface option in my MTNL router.Kindly reply for the same at the earliest.
    Thanks
    Nitish

    mention
    (a) number of system/s in use.
    (b)OS used
.(c) the radius of wifi range and height involved.
    (d) whether antenna is detachable in DGN unit.
    (e)HG520 in working condition.

    Para two
Rj45 cable( Max length 100 meters. can be used
Connecting both units wifi range can be extended.
WIFI mode not possible. between HG520 and DGN1000.
    You can try Anttenna boosters.

what I want to do is make my Hg520 work as a bridge to connect to the internet from my laptop and laptop can connect to the bridge with greater coverage of signals....

My dgn1000 will be the same primary adsl2+ modem router for my internet connection

    No.

Assuming possible, Even then "Line of Sight"
    without obstructions in Open space
    between HG520 & DGN1000 is less than 30 or 40 feet.

    (f) If you have a cellphone wifi enabled
check the range. of reception for Broadband
all over the house. Whether both links appear ?
