    Default Wifi Network Security

    I have installed MTNL Broad Band WiFi network using Nokia Seimen Router 1600.
    Please help me to put Secure this Wifi Network so that, No one without my Knowledge can use it.

    I Followed the given link. After making tre said changes, NOW I am able to access the Internet. My 'VAIO' Lap-Top is not able to find or connect any network. Please guide me.

    Are you accesssing this forum with a desktop ?
    Lap-Top is not able to find or connect any site
    How many systems you use desktop laptop.
    Enable DHCP ( In lan menu pge) and give a range 192.168.1.2 to say 192.168.1.20
    2.
    Confirm Whether laptop is not working in wifi mode/or Lan mode.
    3.
    In laptop

    START run type cmd
    OK
    New window
    typeipconfig /all
    copy/Paste the data here only for WLAN
    ( No tunnel data needed )

    Where to find this lan menu page ???

    we are using 3 lap-tops in single network. Only one is able to connect it self to network. Others... Dell & Sonly Viao is not.

    Pls guide us.

    Have you configured the modem in PPPoE ? If you need to connect more than one system you need to be in PPPoE mode. Or if you have Windows 7 Home Premium or above in any of your laptops, try " Connectify ".

    In Advanced options select LAN

    IN Management SAVE REBOOT.
