Default MTNL Browsing Issues *NEED HELP*

    Hi,

Ive been using MTNL for 2-3 odd years. Recently, I've been having some issues. Basically, whenever I log in to use the internet, everything runs fine for the initial 10-20 mins. However, after a while, the browser just times out and when refreshed, just keeps saying 'connecting to xyz.com'. The router on the other hand, is blinking frequently as if data is being exchanged. This has been happening for quite a while now. I've had my wires checked & changed. The line is clear.

To resolve this, I either have to reboot my router or reset it. However, doing this every now & then (approximately 2-3 times a day is really tedious).

I've also noticed varying speed results from speedtest. I have a 1.3 mbps unlimited. However, sometimes the results vary from anywhere between 512 kbps to 1.1 mps. Pings also vary.

My router is an MTNL branded router which has 'Trendchip' written on it. Here are the ADSL Stats

You need to isolate the problem. Use your modem in a different PC/laptop to check if you still face disconnection. If your modem works fine in other PC then you may need to clean install your OS.
