I hav a mtnl tk-d 318 eui router..... plz if sum 1 could tell me how to port forward it..... am gettin download spes of just 8-10 kbps in 590 nu pln..... sum 1 plz help

Do u get the same download speed in all the sites? Try download sites like tucows.com and download.com. If you do... then there could be two problems:

1. Problem with ur OS:

There could be some setting in ur OS which is restricting the speed. In Network Connections -> Local Area Connection -> Rt Click - Properties, uncheck QoS. This can improve the speed a bit.

2. Problem with your line:

I feel this is the mail culprit in your case. Try to get the connection to the ADSL router directly and then from there to the phone. And try removing parallel phone connections and then check the speed. Also, if there are manual joints in the phone wire, try replacing the wire with a new wire...

well i do get speed of arnd 180 to 200 kbps while downloading from sites..... but on the contrary am gettin hardly even 10 while using torrents....... so if u could help with port forwarding.........
