Default connecting a router to an existing mtnl bb modem

hey guys, i have been trying to connect a linksys WRH54 G router to my existing MTNL DNA-A213 router but in vain.
i have already tried many combinations such as connecting the ethernet cable to a LAN port rather than the WAN port on the linksys router but still no success. could someone please explain how i could go about setting this up? many thanks in advance.

    1)
    Wifi router.MTNL DNA213 itself is a 4 lan port + wifi router.
Almost same menu pages like WA3002-g4 DNA212-IBeetel450BXI etc.

    see my signature link below:
By default Lan port 2 and 3 are reserved for IPTV and VOIP
    Screenshots:http://www.dnaa213.tk/

Confirm you can use this model both in LAN mode and wifi mode.

    (2) Set the above in PPPoE mode ( userid/PW entered/stored in WAN page)

    (3) Enable DHCP. Give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.25

    Para two:
    Connect One rj45 cable from DNA213 LAN1 to Internet/wan Port of WRH54G.
    Use the wizard.

For similar wifi router see settings here .
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...ys-wrt54g.html (Setup of UT-300R2 with Linksys WRT54G)

    (2) How many systems you have ? Desktops in lan mode, laptops in wifi mode
    and smart phones etc ?

yes, both the modems can be used in wired + wireless capabilities individually.
yes, the dna-a213 is a wireless modem.

"confirm connection between DNA213 and WRH54G units." - I have connected a cat 5 cable from the mtnl router's lan 4 port to the WAN port on the linksys modem and the internet LED light on the linksys lights up, but i cant access the mtnl routers setting page.
but i can access the linksys routers setting page.

Connect WRH54G to computer lan port
In menu page LAN enter 192.168.2.1 Save reboot.
    DNA213 will remain as 192.168.1.1.
