Thread: Sterlite SAM300AX ...strange accessing issues..

got a Sterlite SAM300AX,

been using it since over a year,


strangely since last 6 months,

every 2 months, the access to the modem page stops...


it doesn't accept my user/pass ...


unless I reset it and use my backed-up ROM file,


upon doing that, I can access it instantly ...then again after 2 months ish...that stops...


there is no security breach or anything ... as this is a WIRED modem, with only me using it.

and I keep tag of it everyday...

was wondering that this might be a FIRMWARE issue...

current firmware version : 2.11.38.0(UE0.C2)3.9.9.5

any idea where I could find the latest firmware ?

or you can load the ROM file by other means ?

What is the necessity of changing default password, when you claim ONLY you access the modem ?
