    Default Wireless Modem/Router

Does any one know which Wireless Rouetr/Modem does MTNL provide with its Triband connection? Do I get to choose the model or something? Which one do you suggest? I need the Wireless modem as I already have a wifi network set up for my home office.

Default WA3302-g4 router - help reqd to change access keys

I just got bb installed from MTNL and hv got WA3002-g4 router pre-configured by them.
I want to change the wireless network access key as MTNL default scheme is too well known.
I am on wireless mode. In interface setup menu I can see I Can see Authentication type " WEP-64 bits" and radio button Key#1 has some numerics in Hex code.
I would like to enhance the security to say WPA-PSK with TKIP
or WPA2-PSK . How to do it is not clear from the user guide and MTNL helpline is almost impossible to get thru. I am not familiar with hex notations and would like to rely on ASCII symbols only. Also I need to connect two laptops at least and the configurations steps for both are needed.
    Can anyone please help me....
    Thanks in advance

Default Configiring Belkin Wireless G router with Dlink 502T ADSl router & DLink N150 Adaptor

    Dear All

I'm using DLink's ADSL Router D-520T for more than 6 years now.

I got one Belkin Wireless G Router and one Dlink's N150 USB wifi adaptor.

I connected the DLnik's ADSL router and Belkin's G router as per the diagram suggested in the forum/internet.

I can see my Belkin in the Network but not able to browse.

Kindly provide step by step guide to help me diagnose the problem since MTNL lines are not working (1504) for last 5 days and nobody knows what is to be done.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi essbebe

After resetting the Belkin router and using default settings, I was able to connect Belkin router from Dlink N150 USB adapter successfully. Internet was fine.

Thanks a lot for your tips yesterday.

Now my wifi is open and not secured - it has default name belkin54g and doesn't prompt any authentication or password. My mobile can detect the wifi and is able to connect without any password.

I need the simplest (& safe) technique to avoid this. It should not connect with any device without a password.

    Please assist.

    Thanks in advance.

Default Problem in simulatenous connection for WiFi mobile & Dlink WiFi adapter at Desktop

I have problem connecting two devices together with Dlink 502 Router + Belkin WIFi Router setup.

For example, if am connected to the Belkin router with my Dlink WiFi adapter at my desktop, it works fine. As soon as my cousin connect his WiFi mobile with Belkin router, i lose my connectivity while he enjoys his web surfing. I can't connect again unless he disconnects his WiFi.

Please resolve this issue for me.

    Thanks.

Please see Post No 6. Item wise response, whichever applicable.
You can enable UpNp box if seen in 502T router.

    Your ISP is MTNL ?
OS used ? windows 7 XP Vista etc.

You can also install "connectify" in your laptop. (*) laptop in LAN mode (*)
for new AP for the smart Phone. Test in limited range.
Deny access to Belkins wifi sssid.
    Sorry.
