    Question vonage not working on MTNL

    Hello, i have vonage motorola router vt2442..i have been using this from last 4 years. it was working fine untill feb of this year when i had airtel connection..i shifted to new place where there is no airtel connectivity so i had to switch on to mtnl for 4 mbps speed.. now the problem is i have beetel 450bx1 modem which was working fine with my airtel connection but with mtnl its giving me lot of pain...The vonage is not working with modem..whenever i try to connect it with any of the ethernet port of this modem no connectivity is coming also this is happening with my laptop too.it gets connected with wirless but not with lan cable ( but i have a desktop too which is working fine with that modem thru lan cable)......Please let me know if there is any specific setting of vonage or modem i need do.......also when i switched on to mtnl my router add has been changed from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.9
    i am so much confused i wanted to know whenter this motorola router works fine with beetel modem or mtnl connection...Please please please help me this....

    (A)
    Check my signature link/s WA3002-g4 quick reference for all settings of Beetel450BXI.

    (B)Connect in "Always On" PPPoE mode
    (your userid/PW stored/entered in modem wan page )

    Enable DHCP ( in LAN page) say range 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.10

    (C)
    confirm your Internet connection is automatic now.
    at least in LAN mode DESKTOP, after above changes.
    (D)
    Connect the RJ45 cable from Desktop end to Vonage unit BLUE Port.
    Lift the phone.
    Do you get an audio message ?

    (E)
    do you see any error message in LCD screen?
    (F)
    Connect another rj45 to Desktop from
    YELLOW port.

    (G) type 192.168.15.1
    ID router PW router.
    access vonage unit settings
    Do not attempt if not confident.
    as Vonage settings are automatic.

    (H)
    confirm your Vonage Phone monthly subscription has been paid.
    Do you get an audio announcement to renew by visiting their website.?

    (I) any error message is seen in LCD display. ?
